centre consul removal

hi folks
i need to remove the centre consul (i think) to replace a lamp on the right side of of the heater indicators where the air con is, i can't find any reference to the removal so was woundering if anyone could help as i don't want to do any wanton damage through ignorance, this is on a ssr-g.

thanks antshiel, but mine is a 96 and has different type switches etc, but would assume that the removal technique is similar, anyway will give it a try.
