Evening Bushwhacker, from trawling through a few old threads I spotted one in which you said you'd converted the heater control bulbs to LEDs. Some time ago a filthy scrote broke into my truck and in the process of trying (and failing miserably) to rip out the stereo the heater control unit was broken. It's only the plastic fascia that's knackered but I'm trying to get things back to how they should look and not just bit's sellotaped together. Any chance you could give me a pointer on how to get the heater unit out? I've stripped out pretty much everything else but before I take out the entire dashboard I was just wondering if there was a quicker, simpler method. Thanks in advance, Simon

If I remember, it was fiddley getting it out, 'cos the slider control wires have to be unclipped, plus a couple of near impossible screws to get at.

Popeye is the best person to ask, as he done his more recently and he may have photos, I haven't.
