I regularly sleep in the surf when we are away sailing at the weekend - I've took the back seats out to give an extra bit of headroom and I use some caravan cushions to make a double bed. Me and the GF sleep quite comfortably under a big thick duvet.

for next year I'm getting a roof box for that extra bit of storage (to save piling up the front seats with our stuff)

I was gonna say how do you fit in as when my back seats are down i cant lie straight(im about 6ft2) i did fall asleep lying across the rear door back in the summer for about an hour an half as i rested at a services looking up at the stars at 3 am was quite relaxing falling asleep under the stars!lol

Yes, surfs make great camper vans. Vented panels so shouoldn`t get too stuffy, 12v power, open the sunroof abit if it`s hot. Slide the front seats forward and remove the seat section of the back seats- 4 bolts.

            sleeping in me surf

Glad you all enjoyed sleeping in the truck..... I didn't realise about the vent thingys, that's why it wasn't stuffy and things didn't end up damp and clammy in the morning. It kept so warm too. I don't need to take the seats out ... only 5' 3 ha Cheers Gina
