optimal fuel economy

    Towing race car on trailer around 21mpg, taking my time with no trailer around 55 to 60mph returned nearly 33mpg.
    Will be trying the veg oil soon.

          i dont get 33mpg whilst being towed .

          and to think back to my youth those 3 red buttons , 2 star , 3 star and 4 star , the dearest being all of 54p for a gallon i think .

                Was a trip from Swansea to Bristol and back, all motorway, no hold ups, roads quiet and a very light right foot....normaly get 25 to 26 on a cross counrty run with no motorways....after towing a race car around the county for years have learnt how to save as much fuel as possible...no point in racing around in Surf I do that in the Pulsar...

                P.S. If you dont think I can drive hard used to race a special saloon Turbo charged 1.3 Mini could get that down to 2,,,,yes 2 MPG....
