Mechanic says bearings have gone. Has anyone else had bearings replaced, and what have you been charged?
Also are the bearings only available from Toyota as I has been given an astronomical price for them!!!
I have got the chance of a second hand one from a 3 litre, but being in the s$$$$ yard, there is no VIN plate. Is there any way of telling the code for the diff without the VIN?

Or has anyone on here got one for sale lol ?

The code for the diff is g295

Any help gratefully received. Getting withdrawal symptoms already-been off the road a week!

295 relates to gearing of 4.10 / 4 pinion and Limited Slip Differential

thanks for the quick replies, the bloke at the s$$$$ yard asked me if there is any way of telling what no a diff is, if there is no vin plate to get the code off on the donor motor, he has a couple there but no telling if the same or not, or are all 3.0l the same?

Thats a lsd one ............don't forget to use Lsd diff oil

Ends i 4 open diff
Ends in 5 LSD

Mine ends in 4
