  • cab vibrating

my surf is progressively shaking more over 60 mph , i had 2 new tyres fitted and balanced on the front a few months ago , and its slowly gotten worse , i did fit dust caps to the grease nipples on the prop shaft and wondering if these are causing prop shaft imbalance but weigh no more than off road mud would stuck to the prop shaft.

should i get the rears balanced as the steering wheel dont really vibrate much at all . ????

    any ideas.

Yes, get the reas ballenced too, and if that don't help, then look at getting your props tested/ballanced

Usually, if the rear wheels are unbalanced, then the whole vehicle will vibrate, but if the fronts are unbalanced, just the steering whel will vibrate.

Also, check that a wheel balance weight hasn't fallen off.

i had the suspect wheels balanced today , its all good now , no vibrating

1 rear needed 130 gms and 65 gms

the other 45 gms and 90 gms.

so they were well out .
