Hi There lads... have noticed over the last few days that my temp gauge is up on the half way marker after only driving half a mile to a mile. She stays at the half way marker all day. im a little worried that she climbs so quick
Or am i just flapping over nought.Any thoughts on this Thanks...

i would say its the norm as my 2nd gen 3.0 is the same

The temp gauges on Surfs are a bit weird. I have a "proper" gauge and the Surf one reads in the centre when the temp is only around 50 deg and it will stay there until around 100.

My gen 3 does exactly the same since I had a new head fitted, new thermostat and had the cooling system drain flushed and re filled in the last month. I can't comment on what it did before as the head was gone when I got it.

mine goes up to the half way or just bellow in around 5 minits, this last few days have been warm so my heaters are shut to cold, so i presume that there is a lot less coolant cerculating.
