What does A/T P mean on the dashboard?

Any ideas on this? i can't select gears in 2WD only 4WD, could be low oil i suppose but i have no manual to find out what it means!!

Think it's something to do with the transfer case being in neutral, you sure you got it pulled right back into H. Put the main lever in neutral, then pull the transfer lever right back.

I'm guessing here but I think it's an auto transmission overheat warning. Check your A/T fluid for level and colour - it should be a bright red. If it's gone brownish then it needs changing quickly.
