Something about veg oil being bad for modern direct injection engines. Too boring to read more than every fifth word. As surfs have, I believe, resolutely old fashioned indirect injection engines, we are spared having to read all that tedious b0llocks.

So the answer is no, unless you are putting veg oil in something other than a surf.
