Hot drums when towing my Caravan

Hi Guys,

Have recently noticed my rear drums on my 3rd gen are getting hot when towing my caravan, you can smell the brakes after a run. I suspect this may be normal due to load sensor allowing more braking force to the rear brakes ?

There is no pulling to either side and braking efficiency is very good.

I have slackened the handbrake after it was tightened by a main dealer who did not notice that the offside handbrake lever arm on the backplate was siezed.

Any advice ?

This could still be a problem! I suggest you strip the rear brakes & check everything, Then re-ajust
