gear box upgrade

just about to buy a 1993 3.0ltr sxx g mark2 can you upgrade gear box to one with a center diff.

Never heard of such a thing on here but would presume it would be in the transfer box anyway, not the gearbox.

sorry no I am new to surfs but ok on mechanics bits but am going to buy a mk2 surf but seen info on diff wind up but mk3 surfs have a centre diff so i was wondering if a mk3 gearbox/trans case is inter-changeable.

Nope, cos the front prop is on the other side to the 2nd gen.

so tony the mk2 and 3 are a diffrent set up all together.
