Are you any good with spanners?

It is really easy on the 3.0 engine to change the belt.

        Remove fan assembly and pulley/belts.
        Remove timing belt cover.
Dab tipex marks on the timing belt pulleys with corrosponding marks on the engine casing so that the pulleys can be aligned in the same place when fitting new belt.
        Loosen belt tensioner and remove.
Compress tensioner in a vice and lock in position with a thin metal bar or drill bit.
Fit new belt to engine, making sure your tipex marks are still lined up.
Refit tensioner and remove locking pin/drill bit so that the belt is now tensioned.
Turn the engine through two complete revolutions using a socket and bar on the crank pulley bolt.
Re-check timing marks are still aligned.
        Re-fit timing belt cover.
Re-fit pulley, belts and fan assembly.
        Start engine.

Autodata book time is 2 hours. And that is really generous.
