Daft question

I have not been on for a bit. Too busy at work. The kids/mrs have stuffed the back door opening mechanism somehow. I can't see how to get the door card off. I have removed the screws in the rest and behind the handle. All the "poppers" are off in one piece. It seems to be held by the handle. Any suggestions or am I missing something.

You have to slide the handle to unclip it (the handle) then it should come out so it's hanging by the rod. But i cant remember which way, it's either forward or backwards, can be very stiff.

Thanks for that Nero. I have sorted the little bu***r now! It was just the connecting rod had come out of the handle. All's well now. I even managed to refurb the left hand window switch whilst waiting for a reply!! It's a shame I have to give it back to the undeserving "er indoors" now.
