I have a Hilux surf 3.0ltr Turbo intercooler.... Now,listen it is a 1996
model with, bulge in bonnet, full elec pack,full leather, rear roof spoiler with auto drop reverse mirror. spare tyre cradle on back door, sky blue with silver wheel arches, 5 speed auto,super select 4wd switch on 4wd shifter,
86000 miles,1 previous lady owner, imported to UK 2001, Can anyone tell me what GEN it is........NOW i paid £5.800
WAS I CAUGHT OR NOT OR IS THIS A GOOD BUY...Thanks...

have you folded down the sun visor yet, if there is a pair of scissors and a comb slid in the holder it's definately a 3rd Gen

The fact that the intercooler is fitted makes you want to 'hoof it' everywhere so the fuel savings isn't that much!

Can probably get 2mpg by pumping the tyres up a bit harder.

Seems a good buy but in your previous thread you said you had to replace head,if that's adding to your price the £££ are creeping up.Still as long as you're happy with the truck that's all that counts
