1KZT - air intake temperature sensor?

Hi guys,

Does the 1KZT have an intake air temperature sensor? I wonder how it interfaces with the mechanical injection system?

Anyone know where the sensor is (if it exists)?

Its in the elbow on the lid of the air filter box. Definatly on a Surf, not sure if a UK 4Runner has one. As the non-EFI 2.4's don't have one, and the 4Runner has a mechanical fuel pump.

Hmmm, interesting. You say its before the turbo on the EFI engines? How odd!
