fan switch

does anyone know where the temp switch is thet controls the electric fan as i want to bypass it to see if the fan works

If you mean the small one on the drivers side in front of the main rad, that's the aircon fan. Works when you put the aircon on.

I used a sperate battery to test mine. It was u/s. Try to get one from a s$$$$py if you can. £134 from toy dealer.

Not sure about the 3ltr (I haven't look under the bonnet too much on mine yet), but on the 2.4ltr there is a plug that connects in near the thermostat housing. Pull that plug, and the fan comes on (it's wired so if the circuit is broken the fan comes on). It's probably similar for the 3ltr.
