brake master cylinder help

1st of all I would like to say what a great site. I have owned my surf for 6weeks and all the info on here has been a great help.
I was wondering if anyone knows if the master brake cylinder from a 2.4 surf will fit my 3.0l both are gen2, mine is on its way out and I have spotted 1 at a breakers.

Ps. Would also like to say a big thanks to tony at 4x4toys in Basingstoke who recently fitted 2 rear wheel bearings for me. He did a great job at a great price and didnt seem to mind the thousand and 1 questions I asked him well worth the journey.

I would say yes as they are on the same Chassis
