Had to jump my '93 3.0 TD a couple of times recently, so did all the cheapskate things of cleaning terminals and sloshing distilled water down the holes, but reckon that it's new battery time. Question. Is it best to replace them both, and where do I go for the new ones?

Yup, you should definately replace them both at the same time. A bad battery can bring down a good one with it. A recent thread here said that Toyota might actually be a good source.Originally posted by GARY P.Had to jump my '93 3.0 TD a couple of times recently, so did all the cheapskate things of cleaning terminals and sloshing distilled water down the holes, but reckon that it's new battery time. i take it the key don't work at all.if not then it could be a wire come off from inside the tailgateOriginally posted by GARY P.thank 'ee kindly.
Next question. The back window works lovely from the inside switch, but the key opening thing from the tailgate don't. What's wrong? Is it fixable? Is it expensive?https://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/
