Auto box getting warm

Hi, does anyone tow with a surf?

My gearbox seems to get warm when towing my caravan. Is there a transmission cooler fitted as standard?

There is a standard cooler built into the bottom of the engine radiator, but it doesn't seem to cope very well with heavy/prolonged towing. A few people have fitted additional coolers.

My box gets warm anyway, just warm enough to warm my left leg these cold mornings.
