  • Replacing radiator

I am replacing my radiator and would like to know how much coolant and atf fluid i will have to replace when it goes back in, any help appreciated.

if you buy 10 ltrs of coolant you should have enough.
atf loss will be minimal so just a small pot will be fine.

The atf pipe came away from the radiator and leaked all over the road. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how much fluid i might of lost or is that a bit of a how long is a piece of string question.
The picture shows the trail of fluid that was left on the road.

I wouldn't have though you'd lost much, it would have only have been what was in the pipes and the cooler in the rad. At a guess it probably won't be more than half a litre. I've had my rad out a few times, never seemed to be much fluid there to lose. The level is easy checked on the ATF dipstick though.
