Transmission Flush?

Once the pan has been drained and refilled on the auto box, anyone confirm the amount of trans fluid to refill the system using bucket method (thanks andy for the method ), or do you just wait till it runs clean (red) again.

Just got mine refilled last week, brought in into the garage for it though. I think the wait 'till it runs clear is the method to use. My gear changes are a lot smoother now.
