i recal seeing a specialist 4x4 outfit in that area called "nene valley 4x4" ?..i'm really not sure if they are just a parts retailer or wether they service all makes, if any..but worth a look maybe?
Thanks mickey looks good, I have looked them up and they prep landrovers for overland trips so I will call them next week and see if they do any Surfs.
Brand new member so please be gentle.
Just bought a 3rd gen SSRG with 60000 miles and would like to know if there are reputable surf specialists in the Nwest area who would service my ride without taking me to the cleaners. Need to:
1)replace all filters and oil
2)change transmission & diff oil
3)replace the cambelt
4)troubleshhot the 4wd dash indicator that is constantly flashing - something amiss with the ADD system.
Thanks, did not think of it that way. I Know a guy that looks after my and the father in laws mundane-os.
Any idea about the constantly flashing 4wd dash indicator? I don't think the ADD is working. The ADD solenoids tick when I press the 4wd switch on the transfer box but I may not be getting vacuum to the actuator.
Is this a job for the toyota dealers?
May sound like I know what I'm talking about but this is all theoretical knowledge!!
Lastly, do 3rd gens have a vacuum tank on the ADD system? If so, where is it located? Had a look on mine and o few other 3rd gens but cannot find one.
