Thought it could be this so I have been intouch with the local car shop can get a replacement for £100 and the bloke on ebay has been intouch saying that hes not aloud to take his off ebay because of there rules??? but he has more than 12 hours left( still has 2 days left )

Can you replace these voltage regulators? or would I be better off just throwing it in the bin?

They can be replaced, but £100 for the regulator?????????

Any vehicle breakers near you? as I believe the alterator from a mk2 MR2 will fit the Surf, and has a higher output too, but I'm not 100% it will fit so you'll need to take your old one along with you to the breakers and match it up.

I believe so, the mk2 MR2 with power steering is the alternator you need.

If you find the complete car, get the passenger side electric window motor aswell, as this fits the Surfs rear window.
