Having done the Dual Mass to Solid Flywheel conversion on my 3.0Litre KZN130 I thought I would dismantle the old one to see how bad it was.
The main guts of it were exposed after removing all the rivets (many) on both sides. Well it was a right mess. Hopefully the pics below will give you some idea of what happens after all the grease has been thrown out and distributed around the inside of the bell housing.

Having changed to a 4Runner solid flywheel and sprung clutch everthing seams to be working fine.
