hi, hi have a 98 3.0td surf, does anyone know wat sort of gas is used in the aircon system, aparantly theres a poisonous one that has 2 be removed by a specialist, and the other one u can recharge urself with a kit called Arctic Freeze but it has 2 be the correct gas? http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/cb/cb.asp?a=230769 this it the stuff.

As yours is a '98 Surf, then you already have the latest gas in your air-con, R134A.
Apparently you can get re-charge bottles from Halfords. £40.
