tapping noise from engine!!!!!!

hi all
i wonder if anyone can help ,i have a tapping noise coming from my engine on my 97 surf 3.0 td i think it may be an injector as i put some injector cleaner in a couple of tank fulls ago and it went away.
Now its back and seems to be worse,it is not a consistant noise it varies a lot.......please help i am close to taking it to the garage ....AND THATS GONNA BE EXPENSIVE hehehe

well if i was you mate and i had a tapping noise id check to see if an illegal immigrant aint under ya hood knocking to get out if not get a plumber it might need a tapping washer lol

Good luck with finding the problem. I'd bung some redex diesel in the tank. I mean the fuel tank, not your truck.
