How to reset timing belt counter?

I have a Surf 3.0 Intercooler, Turbo Diesel, 1997 model and have recently changed the timing belt (99,980 on the clock). Can somebody please guide me how to reset the timing belt counter and to switch off the yellow light (just in case it turns-on)?? Thank you in advance for any help.

I recently took my dash pod out to reset the timing belt light on my 3rd Generation Surf, it was quite easy it only took about 45 minutes. Just be gently with plastic cowls & make sure all the screws have been removed before pulling the plastic trims out or you could break the lugs or even worse the cowls. Regards Lewis.
