am i down on power??

my 3.0 seems to be just a smidge down on power, noticeable when driving up hills in north wales its really struggling and loosing speed, been like that ever since i had my head n gearbox done. is it possible im a tooth out on the cam belt? how do i check the timing marks? or is it something else all together, or am i just talking out my 'arris.. again!

First thing to check is all the intake hoses before the turbo.Then.......
Air filter.
brakes dragging.
Babys rattle under the gas pedal.
Your weight.

just given it a full service, air, fuel, oil and replaced discs and pads, no difference really. pipes before the turbo is a possibility. anyone got a schematic?

I was don on power just as you describe at the weekend, then I remembered I had the caravan attached, ten tonnes of windsurfing kit on the roof and a boot full of beer......Solved the problem by drinking the beer!
