Air Con Re-charge

Just been to garage today. Told that if air con re-charge requires no more than 650 grams of gas, it will cost £55. Seemed OK to me. Is that about right? Does it take more than 650 grams?

the gas amount sounds about right, the price sounds bl**dy cheap I'd expect to pay between £80-£100 for aircon service and regas.
