hi people does enyone know how much for an engine rebuild having low oil pressure for a while now but still within toyota's spec yeah right!!!!! engine has give up in a big way tapping knocking you name it now siesed found an engine complete with everything for £1200 from truck with heavy side impact damage 63000 miles on clock but not sure about buying second hand engine its not as if its a £60 quid escort engine plus on a very tight budget

suggest you have a word with stevo on here if not doing it yourself. I had my short engine bored, 1 pot sleaved, new pots ends and mains for £650, did the rest myself. at least I know the inerds of my motor are good! (bugg£r of a job tho!!)

Hi l agrre with the rest give STEVO a ring l would rather spend £1,200 on a rebuild than a second hand motor at least you would know what you have had done under the bonnet.

if you want cheap $$$$ you will be worried about and what will let you down! i have a number and he will do a rebuild for £500 and try and get your money back when it does let you down
or try stevo and trust him
if he says its £1200 then thats what you get £1200 worth of parts and work done oh yeah and the reasurance that if it does go pear shaped he will sort it
ive not heard anything but good things about him
i used him myself a couple of weeks back for my new head and am happy with the work and service he gave me
