I got a small petrol version from Philip (member on here) for my wifes 1.3L Polo last year. Fitted it as per instructions and kept an exact mileage record before and after fitting. I can truthfully say the petrol version did not make any improvement at all to the Polo's fuel consumption in the time we had the car, in fact my wife thought it actually made things worse (and no it wasn't leaking fuel at the pipe joints). That's my view but I believe those that have used them on diesel fueled cars (especially Surf's using veg oil) have seen some improvement.
