I am seriously considering buying a hilux-surf SSRG, 3.0 TD.
I am a bit worried about overheating problems, can anyone re-assure me
before i purchase.

That 3 ltr engine has no overheating issues, its the 2.4 ltr engine that does. The bigger engine was introduced in '93.

Hi.

I've got a '96 SSR-X 3.0 td automatic. I may be biased but it's the dogs nuts of a motor, as long as your not put off by the size of it you wont be disappointed, but if you've got a heavy right foot, then you'll need to teach yourself to be more of a "slower" driver as it can guzzle the juice and can be twitchy in the wet. If driven properly, you wont want any other motor....but thats IMHO.
