  • Rear window on the way out?

My rear window seems to be getting really slow to operate up and down. Is this a sign that the motor is wearing out? It seems to be worse when it's really cold oddly enough.

I had a look at Milners to price up a new motor for the inevitable? and I noticed that there was something on there called a Tailgate window regulator - what does this do and could it be this that is causing the window to operate so slowly?

    Any advice?

The regulator is just the mechanism the the motor operates.
Get some rubber lubricant and spray it into the runners on each side and accross the top where the glass slides up and down.

Right, rubber lube it is then! That's a relief. Hopefully it'll do the trick.

          Cheers!
