welcome to the forums chap..i concur with the other comments, thats a unique looking rig you have there..

i'll answer your first question before you ask it...the clunking sound from the front means your wheelstops need greasing...

seriously though, may all your surfing niggles be minor ones..thankfully, most are..if it does go pear-shape, you couldn't be in finer company..the boys here have saved me big bucks..i'll buy them all a drink one day..if i can afford 2000 straws.
