diesel leak

I have a 1996 3rd Gen Surf and have just discovered a diesel leak towards the rear of the vehicle (fuel tank?).Has anyone with the same vehicle had probs with fuel tank leaks or could the leak be coming from somewhere else?

Found out the diesel tank has a leak.This was caused whilst driving off road,the back end bottomed out coming through a gully,must have hit something hard,bash plate is dented,tank has a small dint this is leaking,very slowly.Now looking for a second hand tank.
