speedo wiring

Hi m8s, can anyone tell me using the terms o/s or n/s on which side of the transmission I can find the mech/electrical converter for the speedo. I think I may have a bad connection but dont know where to look. Cheers in advance. Phil

Its on the O/S of the transfer case, on the rear cover.

Had a quick look this morning and I'll bet it is the three wires out of reach above the handbrake linkage. Also I cant see any means of disconnecting the plug without damaging it, the tab on the side will neither squeeze in or lever out and I dont want to apply too much force as to break it. Any suggestions welcome cheers in advance. Phil
