Where is my thermostat?

Hi All,
Please can someone help me, I have a 3.0L surf that is getting too hot. I want to check the thermostat but I cannot seem to find it anywhere. Where abouts should it be?

Have you looked in the odds and ends drawer in the kitchen?????


It's underneath the turbo at the end of the rubber hose that comes from the bottom of the radiator.

You have the heat shield that covers the objects as indicated on the diagram

Thanks all, located the thermostat and replaced it with a shiny new one.....
