  • Footwell lights

    Hi,

I want to hook up some footwell lights to my surf when i get it (makes finding the baby's dummy much easier (ok so i want a bit of flash). How easy is it to access the interior light switch on the front door pillars to take a feed?
    Cheers

    Simon

Easy, just remove the small panel that covers the fuses down by throttle pedal, and the same the other side. I've got some extra bright LEDs to go in mine, fitting them today, but I've just come indoors to have a cup of tea and warm my feet up. It's still zero degrees outside!

Thanks mate, just noticed i've posted in the wrong forum strictly speaking, sorry mods.

I reckon a tube under each seat should work well.

You'll be wanting some more in the base of the doors so that you can illuminate puddles before jumping in them...

Look nice though... was thinking the same, but pointing them at the floor from under the dash. Could do the same under the heater vents at the back of the centre console...
