The standard size tyres for a narrow bodied Surf is 215/70/15.
The size your supplier has quoted is 20mm wider but slightly taller, so when your speedo is reading 60mph you'll actually be doing 62.4ish.

If you have a wide bodied Surf i.e. with wheel arch extensions, you really need 265 wide tyres on 8 inch wide rims, otherwise they will look 'lost' under the arches.
I have 31/10.5/15 tyres, the imperial equivelent to 265/70/15.
