Windcreen Replacement???

Anyone had a windscreen replaced on their Surf? Autoglass think they need to import one from Japan- I can't convince them a stock 4Runner screen will fit the hole! Can anyone confirm this?

This was covered a while back on the old forum. Yes the 4runner screen is identical.
If memory serves me correctly cost new from toyota inc seal/trim was around £220stg

I had a new windscreen fitted in my 94 3.0 ssrx , by R A C autowindscreens , took them 2 days to get one from toyota, new rubber, chrome strip. £270.00 , no probs. good luck with yours.

ensure they get the chrome surround. explain to them that taking old trim off will render it useless, as it will get damaged as it is glued on so hard
