No i had a bit of noise and was driving at the time and it just lost drive .
i had it in to an autobox center last week and no fault found and now wont commit to even a raugh quote with out seeing it but that is going to cost as its 15 mile away.
any help or ball park on price would help..

sorry mate im still new to this and am flaping a bit ..
its a 94 knz130 3.0l auto and i was getting a lot of drag when cold and a bit of a rattle,
i had changed the fluid and had it looked at but all looked fine they did a road test and a stall test and it was ok right up till it stoped.

You may be lucky and it will be solenoid related. Or something to do with the clutch bands. Have you tried pressing the overdrive button or the ECT to see what happens?

Auto's are tricky, apart from changing the oil everthing else is 'entertaining'
But, crawl underneath and pull of the cover that lets you see the torque converter, and make sure the bolts are still in it! you may have nothing joining the flex plate to the converter!

Hi TonyN just had a look and can not see a cover just solid bellhousing.

not sure about 3rd gens, but 2nd's have a inspection cover on the passenger side (i think) that lets you get to the bolts. on the flat plate covering the bottem half of the bellhousing, looking from the front of the car
