Now then, I'm gonna start again. My previous posts concerned tyre rubbing and at the end I decided it might be best to change the tyres. Now having second thoughts. Currently fitted
265/75/16's
standard springs.
The tyres rub like crazy on turning (coupled with bumpy surface). I did think about going standard size - 265/70's but it would be a shame as there is loads of tread left. Others on here have the oversize tyres fitted and report minimal rubbing so I am thinking either
front springs are sagging - any help with standard rim to arch height? so I can check.
are uprated springs available HD rather than +2" ?
The tyres currently catch either the front arch trim or bolts on rear arch, either way its quite bad. At standstill turning the wheel the clearance is rizla fag paper territory.
