    i've cleared a space and fitted a K&N filter... much easier to get at fuel filter now!

    and you don't get an air box full of mud!

    And the added bonus of raising your air intake a good few inches, all the better for wading!

      yup!... it's an old one off a cavalier 2.0i... just cut the square hole round!!

          I maybe wrong , but isn't there an air temp sensor in the air box for the ECU? If there is , where is it now ?

            it's on the pipe that the filter is connected to now (the one that goes over the engine)

            well, there's a sensor there so i guess that's it?

            nowt connected to air box, but all different on 3rd gen set up... even from 3.0 2nd gen
            (probably cos of intercooler option)

                          i;m doing all the simple bits, but need an inner CV joint and no one has them!... no point doing ball joints till i get that and make a job of it!...


                          grrr.... need some diff oil put in too but only have sockets up to 22mm!!

                          i'm going on a cycling expedition now!... to the kings head!

                            Oh well, I was wrong . I only wanted to make sure all was OK for the Slug . I got some of them cone filters for fitting to Lotus's . May fit one to the Runner to sound like everyone else round here
                            Got myself a single in twin out Stebro rear exhaust box at the Autoshow Sunday so double Chav motoring with a bit of welding !!
