  • Air Con pipe help

I am informed by my esteemed mechanic that the low pressure pipe from the air compressor is leaking and hence no air con. apparent £126ish plus VAT but none in stock in UK so 10 days wait for one from Japan, part # is 88712 and its for a 93 3.0l 2nd gen.

If anyone can suggest where to get one cheaper and or quicker I would be eternally grateful.

    cheers

try a hydraulic hose place like Pertek (you see their mobile hose repair vans everywhere) or similar, you should be able to get one made up as long as the fittings are available.

I have a load of pipes from an abandoned project to fit air con to my 4Runner, if you post a picture I'll see if I've got one

            Hi Jonny
S*ds law, I've got two of those pipes, but the bit where they go into the compressor is different on both of them
You can have one if you think you can do anything with it

Fitting is the same, just that the pipe comes out of the top not the side, still fitted with one bolt with an O ring on the wider part of the flange.

just been to look at my compressor and I think you right, pipes look the right shape to fit that way as well. Neill can I take you up on your offer ?

                  Hi Jonny
If you send me an email I'll give you my number and we can make a plan. I don't want anything for it but I'm a bit too busy to post it for the next few days
