speed alarm

The kmh to mph converter fitted to my '93 surf recently stopped working and I was told I'd be better off putting up with the speedo working in Km/h. Problem is I now have an audable warning which kicks in at 105Km/h. Is there any way to disable this?

This was done very recently , have a read of this thread , should only be a couple of wires that need cutting .
