  • What shocks to go for?

It should have read.............( ok its been a hard week)

After changing my springs a couple of months ago I have come to the conclusion that my shocks are gone too.

Back seem fine, but the front feels like im in my boat in a force 7. Up and down like a yoyo.

I might as well go the whole hog and change all of them. Any info on the best ones to go for and a cost??

    cheers

    Mike

Best value for money are Procomp 3000's are inbetween hard and soft setting on the originals, 9000's are slightly harder than the hard setting.

    I'd get the 9000's everytime.

If you want adjustability, you need something like Rancho RS something or others, but you'll pay loads more than the Procomps.

ive got Rancho adjustables but I cant never be bothered to take them off hard. If I need to replace them then I will go with 9000 Pro Comps

ditto on the 9000, love them to bits...

TonyN added the coil-rite rear airbags for me and they are awesome... strongly recommend those together with the ProComp 20% 2"+ springs.

You can get an interior mount adjuster for the RS9000s if you have the correct RS9000s - not all can be remote adjusted.

Yeah I know that would be sweet add that to my upgrades list.... the only thing is you could buy about 4 sets of ProComps by then!

                  Got WD40?

                  See this thread....

They're not normally a problem, but you need strong arms or long spanners

The hardest bit is getting the plugs apart from the remote units!
