Or fit the coil-rite airbags, and give yourself 2" of lift when you need it, let them down when you don't.....

not smug at all, from where I am sitting....

    always wanted a hi-lowrider...

The Milners rear springs should return the Surf to the rear ride height it had when it left the factory. In my case they lifted the rear by approx 2" from where it was on the original springs, (which was the amount of spring sag it had developed). Measured from the centre of the rear wheel hub to the bottom of the arch extension the gap is now approx 22".
The new springs don't affect the original Surf shockers at all ie: hard/soft settings still works off the dash switch. (think Linda meant if you change the shockers for other than Toyota originals).

Your spot on with what your saying, my rear arches when i lifted them to the same height as the front gained 2". Ive ordered the springs today from milner £40.00, should get them tommorrow. Let you know how i get on, i'll be fitting them myself this weekend, had a look at the job and it dont look to bad to do ive also got a lend of a friends spring compressors. wish me luck, thanx again, G.

p.s off topic a bit but heres a pic for y'all of me at one of the shows i do with the stunt team.

I put procomp 2" lift springs in mine, but they still sag when even 5okg is put in the back!!! So i'm off to Milners to compare Surf rear springs with Landcruiser 1995 80 springs, and if they are similar but H/D then im having them instead as they are a higher lb'age.

I had a 2 inch suspension lift done when I purchased mine, an am running on 31 inch bfg ATs - they still look too small, does that mean I will be able to fit 33 inch tyres on it then? Tyre upgrade looming see....?

You'll probably need more than 2" lift for 33" tyres. Might look okay on the flat & level but if you go offroad then axle articulation and wheel turning will cause the tyres to hit the body work.

i find my spring way to hard. have a 1998 ssx-g and find the drive very bangy on the road. it seems like hard switch always on but it is not. and when switched on it even gets harder. what springs are good for smooth driving and still ok for towing. would like a better smoother drive as at the moment breaking my back.
