KZN 130 clicking starter.

Surf been stood undercover for a while and occasionally fired up. Looks like the alternator has stopped charging(checked output to batteries and nothing happening,also weird stuff happening on dashboard). Starter now clicking(will occasionally engage and fire up),starter relay on wheel arch working fine----anything else to look for before removing starter? N.B.One brand new battery fitted.

New battery may not be charged fully. Alternator needs to be repaired if you get dash lights and beeping.

Batteries fully charged,alternator will be repaired in time(no beeping).This vehicle will eventually start after continued attempts,but starter will click on the failed attempts.

I believe there are some contacts in the solenoid that wear, that are slightly larger than an aspirin----who supplies these?--Roughtrax?
