MOT advice in regard to steering/suspension

I recently had the truck MOT'd - although it passed okay there was a note of "slight lift in near-side and off-side bottom ball joints" . Would replacing the idler arm bushes solve this problem or am I barking up the wrong tree?

If the lift is in the ball joints then it is them that want replacing - ball joints are around £15 + p&p + vat each from Milners
