hi, my surf has the winter pack and therefore the fuel pre heater on the filter housing, i was wondering if i could add a relay or to manually switch it on as i run veg oil and this would be useful on cold mornings.

solved now, you cant wire it in to have it switched but i took out the small spring under the screw in the heater which sets the vacuum at which it comes on so will hopefully now be on all the time which is fine as im using veg oil, strats and runs much better now
